Reaching Aegina
Reaching Aegina is quite simple. Aegina is very close to Piraeus (Pireas) and on the other hand, there is a direct train from Athens Airport to Pireas!
Athens Airport to Pireas
At the airport, there is a direct train line towards Pireas (Metro, Blue line, M3).
The ETA of reaching Pireas is around 1 hour.
The tickets for going to and leaving from the airport are 9 Euros per time, or the 2way costs 16 Euros and lasts for 30 days. (more info here)
You can buy the ticket(s) directly from the metro station at the airport.
Pireas port towards Aegina
When you arrive at Pireas train station, you need to walk around 300m (5-6 minutes) to reach the port with the F/B to Aegina.
In general, during summer, there are plenty of F/B to choose, depending on the time you arrive to the port.
If you arrive earlier than 20:00, you will find for sure a F/B to travel.
The ETA of reaching Aegina is around 1 hour and 15 minutes, and to have an overview of F/B schedules, you can take a look in this website.
You don’t need to book the tickets, but if you’re sure what time you’ll arrive at the port of Pireas, then why not!
Keep in mind, that the schedule will be updated after May, so if you don’t see a lot of options, that means the timetable is not ready yet!
